With the setup you can install one or more i-net Crystal-Clear components.
After downloading i‑net Crystal-Clear_<version>.zip file you need to do the following steps to install it:
Install the Java VM (e.g.
JDK or JRE from Sun)
If you have not installed a
Java VM from Sun already then you need to install it first. You can use the
JDK or the JRE. Java version 5 or higher is required for i‑net Crystal-Clear and i‑net Designer. You can download it from the
Java SE Download site.
Extract the file “CrystalClear_<version>.zip” or “CrystalClear_<version>_win.zip” into a temporary directory, e.g.: “C:/CrystalClear_Setup” and browse into this directory.
Start the setup with:
double click on “setup.jar” (if configured)
setup.exe (on Windows)
setup.sh (on Unix / Linux)
with the command: java -jar setup.jar
On Windows Vista or Windows 7 you should download the file “CrystalClear_<version>_win.zip”. It contains the setup.exe that will be executed automatically with “Run as Administrator”. With this setup.exe you can install i‑net Crystal-Clear in the “Program Files” directory on Windows Vista also if UAC (User Account Control) is enabled.

Enter a license key
If you have purchased an i‑net Crystal-Clear license you can import the licenseKey.txt in the “License Key” field. Otherwise you can use a trial license key that you can request during setup, after setup in the
Configuration Manager or on the
website of i‑net software to evaluate it.
Start i‑net Crystal-Clear
After the setup has been finished you can start i‑net Crystal-Clear depending on the installed components:
