i-net Crystal-Clear

i‑net Crystal-Clear Configurations

i‑net Crystal-Clear use configurations to store its properties. These configurations are stored in the Java Preferences of the system on which i‑net Crystal-Clear runs.

During installation you can:

  •  Create a new i‑net Crystal-Clear configuration
    • with default values for all properties or
    • by import of an existing crystalclear.properties file
(properties file from an i‑net Crystal-Clear version previous to 8.0)
  • Use an already existing i‑net Crystal-Clear configuration.

Setup - Configurations

The selected scope depends on the environment (user) in that you will use i‑net Crystal-Clear. If you install it into a Servlet engine or application server, like Tomcat, that is running with the system account then select the scope “System” so that the Servlet can access the configuration in the system scope.

Create the configuration for i‑net Crystal-Clear with the same user with that i‑net Crystal-Clear will be executed. Otherwise, it can be that i‑net Crystal-Clear can not access the configuration.
