License Key

In order to use i-net Clear Reports you will need a valid license key.

You can request a 90 days trial license for one IP address. This license key for i-net Clear Reports will only work on a host with this IP address, enabling a 2 concurrent client hosts. If you want to use it from a different client then you will need to restart the server. The IP address must be a local address of the server an not a NAT address.

You can request a trial license key for one IP address manually:

1. With the i-net Clear Reports Configuration Manager
   This license key is only valid on the system running the Configuration Manager. You can start the Configuration Manager by double clicking the ClearReports.jar file or with the command: java -cp .:core/ClearReports.jar com.inet.report.config.gui.swing.startCM You will need an internet connection on the system running the Configuration Manager.
2. On our web site.
   If you do not have an internet connection on the system on that you will use i-net Clear Reports then you can request the license key for this IP address on our website, also: http://www.inetsoftware.de/products/clear-reports/trial-license-request.
   Enter this key in the field “License Key” under “General Options” in the i-net Clear Reports Configuration Manager.
3. Also it is possible to request a trial license key programmatically in your Java application.
   You can find a Java code sample with that you can request a license key for the first valid IP address of the host in the code samples: Documentation/samples/licenseKey/Request_LicenseKey.java.
