With the console setup, it is possible to install the i-net Clear Reports report server on servers without a GUI.
If you start the setup on a headless server, e.g. with the command “java -jar setup.jar”, then it starts in text mode, so that you can install the report server without a GUI.
During setup you should enable the Remote Interface of i-net Clear Reports so that you can configure the i-net Clear Reports properties and data sources using the Remote Configuration Manager.
To restrict the access to the Remote Interface you should specify the hosts that are authorized for access in the property “IP Filter”.
