Version 11 of i-net Clear Reports and i-net Designer supports many new features, see below:
The i-net Designer and the i-net Clear Reports server now require Java 6 as minimum version of the Java virtual machine.
With i-net Clear Reports .NET you are no longer bound to the Java platform but can take advantage of i-net Clear Reports' simple and powerful reporting right within your own .NET application.
i-net software offers free Apps to connect to your i-net Clear Reports Plus repository server and run reports from your mobile device. You can find more information and download links on our website: i-net Clear Reports for iOS™ and i-net Clear Reports for Android™.
The "Formula Editor" has been completely overhauled in version 11. It is now possible to create and/or edit multiple formulas within the Formula Editor without having to close and reopen the editor. The dialog has a new and improved look & feel.
Within the new Formula Editor it is now possible to create user defined functions for a report. These functions can be used in other formulas in the report without further configuration because they are saved within the report. They are written in one of the formula languages of i-net Clear Reports.
The Page Layout dialog has been re-written. It contains a new look & feel with a preview of the settings showing all margins, gaps and columns with sample data.
Version 11 of the i-net Designer contains the new feature "Problem Finder". It will help you to identify potential "gotchas" and problems in the design of the report, e.g. unused formula fields. If it is enabled (e.g. via the button on the right of the main toolbar), then it will appear in the lower left corner of the i-net Designer.
