Air New Zealand is implementing a new cargo management system which will replace approximately 40 legacy applications and databases. The integrated system will support all Air New Zealand Cargo’s processes for international operations including Revenue Management, Sales and Reservations, Operations, Cashiering, Revenue Accounting and Billing. It will be used by several hundred users in New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands, Asia, Europe and North America.
The i-net Crystal-Clear report generator is fully integrated into this J2EE application. It generates all the documents and operational reports as Adobe PDFs. These documents include freight documents (e.g. Air Waybills, etc.), operational documents (e.g. NOTOC – Notice to Captain for dangerous goods) and regulatory documents for Customs and other government agencies.
Wells Fargo Legal Department uses i-net Clear Reports to power the reports for its' web based case management application. We have users at various geographical locations throughout the USA who use this application. i-net Clear Reports has allowed Wells Fargo to build a 100% pure Java, platform independent solution, while still leveraging the power of Crystal Reports to design and build reports. The decision to purchase i-net Clear Reports was made as we needed to deploy on various Unix platforms, but still continue to develop our reports using Seagate Crystal Reports. We have a Java-based application server product called Jpact. We have two customers who are going online with their web-sites 2 weeks from today. Both customers have significant visibility in the List Marketing business in the USA. In both cases, the DB is MS SQL 7 on Win NT. In both cases, we had initially recommended the jdbcKona MS SQLServer Type 4 JDBC driver from Weblogic. However, the Weblogic driver has a number of problems because of which we started looking for another driver which is more compatible to MS SQL 7.0. We have downloaded and evaluated your JDBC driver.
